The Scorpion Sting, first launched in 2002, has proved itself almost beyond compare with great lines, good handling and the famous Scorpion ride quality. The Sting has numerous race wins, world records and long distant cruises to its name. This boat has been tested to the full and come out with flying colours. For any owner this inspires confidence in the vessel. The cockpit is deep and adds a feeling of security and makes a Sting a great boat for touring.
The most popular set up with twin inboard Yanmar 315hp diesel engines can reach speed of up to 52 knots, provides a cruising range of nearly 500nm and feels safe in most weather conditions. The Sting has been tested by Scorpion in the North Atlantic and the North Sea in a variety of sea conditions.
