It what turns out to be probably the roughest conditions for the worlds longest one day powerboat race, the 2 Scorpion entries finish well in a starting field of 21 boats only 9 finished.
Hot Lemon - Stepped Hull Scorpin Sting (630hp) take 2nd over all, 11secs behind Cinzano (1,450hp)
Team Scorpion - A standard production Scorpion Sting take 4th overall driven by Shelley Jory and Navigated by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston.
